Adelsheim Vineyard
As a leading Oregon wine producer and innovator, Adelsheim Vineyard has been crafting complex Pinot noirs and intriguing white wines in Oregon's north Willamette Valley since their first vintage in 1978. Since their founding in 1971 by David Adelsheim and Ginny Adelsheim, the Adelsheim Vineyard estate has grown to include nine exceptional vineyard sites on the Chehalem Mountains, totaling 170 acres. A cutting-edge winery, completed in 1998, provides all of the quality controls required by their "hands-off" winemaking approach. The team at Adelsheim is committed to ongoing vineyard and winery research in order to achieve the fullest expression of each variety, and their people continually dedicate their passion, vision, energy and skills toward the production of captivating Pinot noirs, Pinot gris, Chardonnay, Pinot blanc, Auxerrois, and Tocai Friulano.

Argyle Winery
In 1987 Rollin Soles and Brian Croser staked a claim in Oregon's Willamette Valley, a place ideal for late season ripened Pinot noir and Chardonnay fruit. Argyle produces world-class méthode champenoise sparkling wines, barrel fermented Chardonnay and silky textured Pinot noir from low yield vines. Rollin Soles has been producing fine wines and garnering high praise and fond attention from wine critics and enthusiasts for more than 20 years. Rollin received a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M and a Masters of Science in Enology and Viticulture at the University of California at Davis. A to Z Wineworks
Founded in 2002, A to Z Wineworks' is Oregon's fastests growing winery. Build on partnerships that blend unique skills, the business model is simple: to produce and market Oregon's best wine values by concentrating on core competencies of acquisition, blending and marketing.  Bill Hatcher brought a background in strategy and finance to the Oregon wine industry and Domaine Drouhin Oregon, which he managed for 13 years before co-founding A to Z. Debra Hatcher spearheads marketing, promotion and design. Sam Tannahill and Cheryl Francis, winemakers respectively for Archery Summit and Chehalem for 8 years, bring creativity and technical expertise resulting in the same quality at 120,000 cases as with the inaugural 2,500 that earned us Food and & Wine Magazine's award for the best American Pinot Noir under $20.

In 2006, Michael Davies joined the winemaking team and Gregg Popovich, coach of the San Antonio Spurs, became a partner.  Camas Goble and Charlotte Mischel ran the day-to-day operations until, in 2007, A to Z and more minority partners purchased Rex Hill Vineyards, a 25 year old winery at the northern tip of the Willamette Valley, and our staff expanded and we hired Amy Prosenjak as CFO.

Bergstrom Winery
Our story began in 1997, when John and Karen Bergstrom moved to Dundee from Portland and purchased 15 acres of land in the Dundee Hills off of Worden Hill Road. We spent two years carefully preparing the earth, sowing and plowing under rich green cover crops that would help revitalize the soils and improve the organic matter before planting the Bergstrom Vineyard in 1999. This Vineyard would be a testament to our commitment to quality from the very beginning, planted entirely to Pinot Noir with a wide variety of clonal and rootstock selections as well as some unique plant material from Burgundy.

Winemaker Josh Bergström interned in local Oregon wineries and traveled to Davis, California for winemaking and viticulture extension classes with his father. Josh then left for France to complete a post graduate program in Viticulture and Enology at the CFPPA (Center for the Formation and Promotion of Agricultural Production) in Beaune during 1998 and 1999. He returned home with his wife Caroline in time to begin farming the Bergstrom Vineyard and obtain fruit contracts for Bergstrom's first harvest in 1999.

Chehalem
Chehalem (Chuh-hay-lum) is a local Calapooia Indian word best translated as "gentle land" or "valley of flowers," phrases that capture a long-standing, almost religious reverence for the land. We understand this reverence, for we consider ourselves a vineyard winery, dedicated to reflecting as purely as possible what the vineyard has produced, with minimal processing, without compromising great fruit.

Chehalem traces its history back to vineyard operations started by Harry Peterson-Nedry in 1980 at Ridgecrest Vineyards, the pioneering wine operation on Ribbon Ridge. Bill and Cathy Stoller joined Harry in the winery in 1993 and subsequently began Stoller Vineyards.

Equally well-known for red and white wine quality, we carry a passion and focus for cool climate varieties that reflect both site and climate in complex, structured and intensely fruited wines. We hope to lead to a novel future that is stimulating, exciting and beautiful—such as it must have been generations ago for the Calapooia, overlooking the "valley of flowers."

Double Mountain Brewery
Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom is a company with a clear mission: to make uncompromising beers for the discerning craft brew fans of the Pacific Northwest. They have been building a loyal fan base in both Portland and the Gorge since opening on St. Patrick's Day 2007.

Double Mountain is a true "brewers' brewery", with owners Matt Swihart and Charlie Devereux bringing more than three decades of hands-on experience to the table. Organic pilsner malt from British Columbia serves as the base malt for all Double Mountain brews, and whole flower hops are prominently featured in most every recipe. The brewery has also been innovative in yeast selection. Most Double Mountain beers are fermented with a Belgian ale strain that adds a unique complexity, while others feature a German ale strain famous for its malty, lager-like profile.

You currently can find Double Mountain on tap at about 70 fine bars and restaurants in Portland. When in Hood River, make sure you drop by their Taproom to sample from the full lineup. They toss a mean pizza, too.

The Eyrie Vineyards and BlackCap
In January 1965, after earning a degree in viticulture and enology from UC/Davis, and research in Europe, 25-year old David Lett arrived in Oregon for the first time, "with 3,000 grape cuttings and a theory". He planted the cuttings in a rented nursery plot, and went looking for the perfect vineyard site. It was the first planting of Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and related varieties in the Willamette Valley, and the first Pinot gris in America. One year later, David and Diana Lett founded The Eyrie Vineyards in the Red Hills of Dundee. It was named for the red-tailed hawks who make their home in the fir trees at the top of the first vineyard plantings. Now 43 years later, David & Diana are still involved with the winery, but their son Jason Lett has recently assumed the mantle of winemaker and vineyard manager.

Total annual production is around 10,000 cases. All wines are estate-grown and produced. In addition to handcrafted Pinot noir, Pinot gris and Chardonnay, the Eyrie Vineyards also makes limited bottlings of Pinot blanc, Pinot Meunier and Muscat Ottonel.

In 2002, Jason also launched a solo effort, introducing his own individualistic interpretation of Oregon Pinot noir and later Chardonnay. BlackCap embodies Oregon, taking its name from three iconic native species: the Black-capped Chickadee, the Black-capped Morel, and the Blackcap Raspberry. Together they represent "the song, the savor, and the sweetness" of the region.

The Eyrie Vineyards & BlackCap are located at 935 NE 10th Avenue McMinnville

Full Sail Brewing
Full Sail Brewing is an employee owned company crafting all their beers by hand, in one of the few manual brewhouses of its size in the country. Full Sail's hops and barley come from trusted local farms, their water -from a spring on Mount Hood.

Full Sail does whatever they can to be sensitive to the environment: By operating their own award-winning water treatment plant; distributing their spent grain to nearby farmers; using a sustainable filtration system; packaging their products in recycled paperboard; and becoming a founding member of the Hood River Greensmart taskforce.

Grochau Cellars
At Grochau Cellars, we come to wine as appreciators first, explorers second and creators third. We try to always remember that balance. Drawing inspiration from the landscape around us, and the classic, nuanced wines of France and Spain, we craft the kind of wines we hope to drink at the end of the day: pure, honest and delicious.

Established in 2002, Grochau Cellars is anchored to our Oregon homeland, and we approach each vintage with the same goals: Create complex, genuine wines true to their origins and to the distinct flavors of Oregon.

Grochau Cellars is the project and passion of John Grochau, and his wife Kerri. John has been fortunate enough to learn the trade from some of the Willamette Valley's finest winemakers. From the pioneering cellars and large-scale work of Erath Winery to four years as Doug Tunnel's assistant at the esteemed Brick House Wines, John has logged the numerous hours of careful attention, expert advice and forklift skills necessary to risk his own money on his own undertaking.

Matello
Matello (Italian for "little fool") was formed by a couple of friends who shared a passion for the elegance and beauty of Pinot noir, and a wee thirst for lovely Riesling. The first vintage was 2002, making the wine in a small corner of Westrey winery in McMinnville, producing 186 cases. Now Matello has grown to nearly 1600 cases in the 2007 vintage. The head grape massager, Marcus Goodfellow came from a background in restaurants, honing his palate as a buyer for the Heathman Restaurant. His philosophy is simple to express, "I feel that my role in the cellar is a combination of janitor and orchestra conductor. The grapes are the players and my job is to keep them happy and coax the very purest expression of wine from them that they are capable of. I am looking for wines that have power without weight, fruit purity with complexity, movement, and nerve. I believe we must resist the urge to over-make delicate sites, to allow them to be pretty and delicate wines rather than to push impressiveness upon them." Easier said than done.

Matello wines are produced at the ADEA winery located at 26421 NW Hwy 47 Gaston 97119

Patton Valley Vineyard
Monte Pitt and David Chen met in the mid-1980s while attending business school in Chicago. In between classes, we found ourselves exploring Chicago's legendary wine shops and developing a passion for what we consider the world's finest wine: Pinot Noir.

Having caught "Pinot fever," we pursued our dream of owning a vineyard and making wine. Our search led us to Oregon's Willamette Valley, where we purchased a 72-acre parcel with the ideal combination of soil, exposure and elevation. With the site for the vineyard in hand, we formed Cherry Hill, LLC, the parent company of Patton Valley Vineyard.

Our foremost tenant of winemaking is to allow the characteristics of the site, or "terroir," to show through. The process begins with fastidious vineyard practices. Monte, our winemaker, learned these firsthand while working at Beaux Freres. The co-winemaker and the day-to-day manager of the vines is Jerry Murray, who oversees planting, pruning and harvesting (among other duties!). Throughout the winemaking process, we handle the fruit as little as possible to avoid disturbing the delicate texture and aromatics.

Penner-Ash Wine Cellars
Lynn Penner-Ash's interest in winemaking grew out of an early passion for the sciences. After a summer working for the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., she studied Botany at the University of California, Davis, the birthplace of the American wine industry. In her junior year she changed her major to Viticulture. Then, after working the graveyard shift during crush at Domaine Chandon, she changed her degree again, from Viticulture to Enology.

After graduation, Lynn worked as the enologist at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars for four years. She joined the Oregon wine industry in 1988 as winemaker for Rex Hill Winery and then President and Chief Operating Officer from 1993 through 2002.

Lynn started Penner-Ash Wine Cellars with husband Ron in 1998, carefully crafting small amounts of Pinot noir and Syrah, while she was still at Rex Hill. Their early success with the label caused them to dream of what they could create and in 2001 they began building the Penner-Ash brand full time. Penner-Ash has achieved impressive growth, going from 125 cases of Pinot noir in 1998 to a projected 8,000 cases of Pinot noir and Syrah in 2007.

Rex Hill Vineyards
Rex Hill Winery, founded in 1982 by Paul Hart and Jan Jacobsen, was built around an old prune drying facility and opened in 1985. The original vineyard around the winery is today all Pinot Noir except for one row of Muscat that is left for the sweet delight of harvest visitors. The focus on high quality Pinot Noir at the gateway to the Northern Willamette Valley makes Rex Hill a must stop on visits to or through wine country.
In 2007, A to Z Wineworks (the William Hatcher Family, the Francis Tannahills, and a few partners including Gregg Popovich) purchased Rex Hill Vineyards and Winery bringing fresh enthusiasm and energy to the properties while strengthening both brands. A constant focus on quality is first and foremost. Committed to Biodynamic farming and sustainable business practices, the two families also brought wine education to Rex Hill which now offers classes and seminars to professionals and the public.

Roots
Winemaker and winegrower Chris Berg didn't always know he wanted to make wine. In fact, when he graduated from the University of Kansas, he wasn't sure what his future held, as far as a career. Meanwhile his parents, Chuck and Dian Berg, had relocated to Oregon with the purchase of a manufacturing company in Tualatin. Chris soon followed and helped his parents at the plant, as well as the other reason for the big move: planting a small vineyard.

In 1999, the Bergs planted seven acres of mostly Pinot Noir and by 2000 the Bergs found themselves full-time winery folk. In 2002, the Bergs picked their first harvest of a whopping three tons, which were made into 72 cases of Pinot Noir. Over the next six years Chris and his wife Hillary slowly grew production to include the four different labels that they are producing today: Roots, Racine, Klee and Black Light.

St. Innocent Winery
St. Innocent Winery was founded in May 1988 by Mark Vlossak, the current winemaker and president, and eight investors. St. Innocent produces small lot, handmade wines: seven single vineyard Pinot noirs and a blended Pinot noir called the Villages Cuvée, two Chardonnay from Dijon clone plantings, two Pinot gris, and a Pinot blanc.

The philosophy behind the winemaking at St. Innocent is that the function of wine is to complement and extend the pleasure of a meal. The characteristics of a wine should enhance different food and flavor combinations - this interaction amplifies the pleasure of a meal. To this end, St. Innocent wines tend toward higher acid levels, and more diverse and balanced flavors.

In the spring of 2006, St. Innocent purchased an interest in Zenith Vineyard (formerly O'Connor Vineyard) located in the Eola-Amity Hills. The Zenith Vineyard is now home to St. Innocent's new 17,500 sq. ft., four level, gravity facility featuring underground barrel rooms, temperature controlled crush floor, and tasting room.

St. Innocent Winery is located at 5657 Zena Road NW Salem 97304

William Hatcher Wines
Not having paid attention on Career Day, my occupational choices upon leaving my fourteen years post as a Managing Director of Domaine Drouhin in 2001 were winemaker and accordion repairman. Doing a bit of market research, I found that Oregon was already saturated with accordion repairman (2) but there weren't nearly enough winemakers (250). Thus, William Hatcher Pinot Noir came to fruition in a manner of speaking. To ginger the challenge, my wife Deb and I decided that we should test the design limits of a thirty year marriage by becoming business partners. Thus, William Hatcher Wines was conceived to create further amusement for their friends, penal labor for their children and, oh yes, the A to Z and William Hatcher labels. With every bottle you purchase, one dollar will go toward the Hatcher's marriage counseling fund.
